Starting from Pokhara, Sikles trek takes you to nearly 3000 meter height at Jhakarphulan and navigate around the settlement of Gurung indigenous communities who have their distinct culture, rituals, language. Moreover, Gurungs are famous in Gorkha regiment in British Armed force, thus you will be visiting the hometown of them in Sikles.
Sikles trek is located to the north from Pokhara, the picturesque valley, popular for exploring the diverse culture and rituals of Gurung ethnic groups and equally to have amazing mountain vistas including of Mt. Annapurna I, (8,091 m), Mt. Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, including Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m), Mt. Sikles Trek starts from Beganas Tal (lakeside) and heading to the north alongside of Madi Khola and following the river bank side, takes you to the well-preserved Silkes (approximately 2000 m height) and then you will hike up to Rishing Danda (a hillside, the view point from where you will have amazing mountain vistas, incredible landscapes, amazing sunrise and sunset views and more.
